I love the process of experimental drawing and painting: the inner dialogue, the influence of world music and jazz, the spill of ‘charkole’ ink on paper, hands that tear and paste collage. My art is about the satisfaction I feel when my abstract marks speak through build-up textures, watercolor-like staining, and heavy applications of acrylic paint on canvas. My work is shown in Colorado, Arizona, and New York; many pieces are in private collections.
